Facility Security Officer (FSO) St. Louis

The Opportunity:
Utilize your experience in U.S. Government security management in our St. Louis, Missouri regional office. In this critical role you will conduct or manage all security functions in accordance with NISPOM, DCID, and other government regulations, coordinating closely with both U.S. Government counterparts and our Corporate Facility Security Office in Redlands, California.

Most positions are based at our headquarters in Redlands, California and our regional office in Washington, D.C.; however, opportunities are also available in other locations.
Responsibilities
- Support both collateral level security programs and special access programs.
- Perform daily coordination/communication with the ESRI Corporate Facility Security Office.
- Provide day-to-day security execution of all security operations in the St. Louis office including personnel clearance processing: noms, tracking, indocs, reporting, debriefs; daily use of personnel clearance data systems: JPAS and Access Commander; classified materials receipt, logging, control, and dissemination; physical security operations: alarm call-list, guard service liaison, new construction; maintain accountability of classified government-furnished information and equipment; participate in inspections and audits; maintain certification and accreditation of the facilities.
- Create and update security plans, procedures, and instructions.
- Enhance and participate in an active security awareness and education program.
- Maintain and coordinate excellent working relationships with government agencies.
- Assure compliance with all government and company security regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in CIS, MIS, or related field.
- Possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance with recent Single-scope Background Investigation.
- Minimum of four years of experience in the U.S. Government, DoD, Intelligence, or contractor community in security management.
- Familiarity with NISPOM and DCID guidance documents.
- Significant experience with the DSS Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS).
- Proficient with Microsoft applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Assistant (AFSO) with associated training and credentials.
- Experience using Access Commander software.
- Successful completion of the following DSSA courses: Essentials of Industrial Security Management, Protecting Secret and Classified Documents, FSO Program Management, NISPOM Chapter 8 Requirements for Industry.
- Knowledge of Automated Information Systems accreditation including network configuration.
