SPOT Image Corporation Job Opening - Client Solutions Representative

SPOT Image Corporation is currently recruiting a Client Solutions Representative. This position reports to the VP Operations.

The responsibilities of this position are as follows:

1. Provide customer service support to SPOT Image Corporation clients and key business partners.
2. Proactively communicate with customers about products, pricing, orders, projects, use of data and provide first level of technical support.
3. Work with clients and key business partners in order to determine the best product solution for their application.
4. Assume responsibility of orders from time of first inquiry through sale and shipment to follow-up with client.
5. Follow up with clients on all quotes, plots, orders and inquiries.
6. Work closely with account managers, project managers, satellite programmers and SPOT's parent company in Toulouse to provide necessary sales support for projects.
7. Complete preparation for, enter and track all orders.
8. Keep daily detailed account of all transactions with clients via Microsoft CRM.
9. Provide support to marketing out-reach activities - Lead follow-up after shows, mailings, etc.
10. Travel occasionally to client sites, trade shows and France for training.

The requirements for this job are as follows:

1. 2 years experience in Inside Sales/Customer Service
2. 2 years experience in Windows environment; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, some experience with GIS software i.e. MapInfo, ESRI, ERDAS desired
3. Bachelor's degree required; focus on Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing desired
4. Experience with or knowledge of imagery products a plus.
5. Candidate must be approachable, personable and able to work with many different personalities
6. Must have exceptional problem solving abilities and good critical thinking skills.
7. This is a detail oriented position so applicant must be organized, and have great attention to detail
8. Candidate needs to be a team player
9. Good phone skills a must
10. Ability to travel occasionally.
11. US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Alien immigration status
