Aerial Acquisition Operator

Woolpert's Geospatial Services is seeking an Aerial Acquisition Operator in our Dayton, Ohio office to be part of our highly successful flight crew team. The chosen candidate will have the chance to work with the latest remote sensing technology. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with preference for Associates or Bachelor's degree in Eng., GIS, Geography, or related field and 2 plus years related exp. Previous GIS, photogrammetry and GPS surveying experience a plus. Successful candidate will have the opportunity to train in a variety of skill set areas, including GPS surveying, airborne trajectory processing, and remote sensing utilizing aerial film, digital imaging and LiDAR sensors.
Frequent travel, willingness/ability to work on-board a twin-engine aircraft are required. Candidates must be flexible to work weekends, holidays and as needed. Position requires data acquisition for classified areas. Therefore candidates must have U.S. citizenship to obtain a secret level security clearance.
