MAPPS-USACE Webinar - Revision of the USACE Photogrammetric Manual

The USACE photogrammetric mapping manual presents procedural guidance, technical specifications, and quality control (QC) criteria for performing aerial photogrammetric mapping activities.

Ted Stanton, Chief, Geodesy and Photogrammetry Section will provide an overview of the proposed revision to a draft update of the photogrammetric manual. This webinar will allow USACE to brief the MAPPS members on draft changes and updates to the manual. MAPPS members are encouraged to participate in the webinar to learn more about the manual and the draft changes. The Corps will be seeking comments from the private sector on the proposed updates through December 2013.

About the Presenter

Mr. Stanton is the Chief of the Geodesy and Photogrammetry Section in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) St. Louis District. He is responsible for writing, developing and performing quality assurance on the contractual statement of work (SOW) for a wide range of photogrammetric mapping task orders, for a diverse customer base, for the St. Louis District Center of Expertise in Photogrammetric Mapping. These task orders are in support of a variety of agencies including USDA-NRCS, USDA Forestry Service, USGS, NGB, USAF, USMC and other local and state governments. Mr. Stanton has over 23 years of experience working in the geospatial profession.
