This special forum was co-hosted by the Management Association for Private Photogrammetric surveyors (MAPPS) and the United States Geological Survey (USGS), National Mapping Division. Participating organizations included the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Federal Geographic Data Committee, National Association of Counties, NASA Commercial Remote Sensing Program, NOAA - National Ocean Service, NOAA Coastal Services Center, USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, National Capital Planning Commission, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Wages and Benefits Survey Complete survey results on the wage and non-cash benefits paid to employees of more than 90 leading photogrammetry and spatial data service firms throughout the United States. Organized by geographic region, this survey report provides firm owners and human resource managers data to benchmark their compensation programs with the competition. The 60-page report can also be used to determine labor rates for government contract negotiations and wages scales for immigration applications.

The Bush Administration released an extraordinary rewrite of OMB Circular A-76, the Federal policy on determining whether in-house government employees or private sector contractors will perform commercial activities.
