MAPPS Board Elections Process Begins

In accordance with MAPPS bylaws, the nomination and election process for the MAPPS Board of Directors is hereby initiated and announced.
MAPPS is pleased to report that Pam Nobles, PSM, of 3DS, Inc., Tallahassee, FL has agreed to serve as Nominations Chairman. The Nominations Committee will recommend candidates for election to the MAPPS Board of Directors.
The following terms of current MAPPS Board of Directors expire in July, 2015:
Jeff Lower, President
Mitch Long, MAPPS Director
Tim Stagg, MAPPS Director
Claire Kiedrowski, MAPPS Director
Mike Tully, MAPPS Director
Chris Ogier, MAPPS Director & Secretary
MAPPS is issuing a call for members who may wish to serve on the Nominations Committee. Any MAPPS Member Firm principal interested in serving on the Nominations Committee should contact Jeff Lower, MAPPS President. Please notify him of your interest in serving by May 5.
The full Nominations Committee, along with a call for nominations, will be announced by May 11. Individuals who wish to be considered for election to the MAPPS Board will be asked to submit interest in being a candidate for the Board in writing to the Ms. Nobles, Chairman of the Nominations Committee, by May 22. The official call will include criteria, process, and instructions for submitting a candidate.
The Nominations Committee will announce its recommendations by June 12, one month prior to the Summer Meeting. The election of Directors will take place at the annual business meeting of MAPPS during the Summer Meeting, July 12-15 in Sunriver, Oregon. Any individual not nominated by the Nominations Committee can be considered by a nomination from the floor at that meeting, provided that notice is filed with me on a date prior to the Summer Meeting that will be announced.
