MAPPS Nominations Committee Announcement

Members of MAPPS are hereby notified of the process for nominations and elections for the MAPPS Board of Directors for 2012. Elections are being carried out in accordance with the MAPPS Bylaws.

MAPPS President Dick McDonald has appointed Jeff Lovin (Woolpert, Inc., Dayton, Ohio) to be chairman of the Nominations Committee. The committee will recommend candidates for election to the MAPPS Board of Directors.

This is a call for members who may wish to serve on the Nominations Committee will be issued. Any MAPPS Member Firm principal interested in serving on the committee should contact President McDonald.

The full Nominations Committee, along with a call for nominations, will be announced on April 15. Individuals who wish to be considered for election to the MAPPS Board can submit their candidacy in writing to the chairman between April 15, 2011 and May 15, 2011. The official call to be issued on April 15, will include instructions for submitting a candidate.

The Nominations Committee will announce its recommended slate of candidates by June 10. The election of Directors will take place at the annual business meeting of MAPPS on July 13, during the summer conference, in Snowmass, CO. Any individual not nominated by the Nominations Committee can be considered by a nomination from the floor at that meeting.

Individuals who wish to be considered for election to the MAPPS board should submit their candidacy in writing to the chairman Lovin (jeff.lovin@woolpert.com) by May 15, 2011.

April 11 - Deadline to submit interest to President McDonald

April 15 - Announcement of Nominations Committee members by President McDonald and a call for candidates for MAPPS Board of Directors

May 1 5 - Close of submissions to the Nominations Committee

June 10 - Nominations Committee slate announced (additional nominations may be made from the floor at the annual business meeting)

July 13 - Annual MAPPS Business Meeting and Election during the Summer Conference
