MAPPS Conducting Salary and Non-Cash Benefits Survey
MAPPS is once again conducting its Salary and Non-Cash Benefits Survey. This is the most comprehensive compensation survey in the geospatial profession and is the best way to benchmark your firm's wages, benefits and compensation program with other firms in the community.
We need you to participate in the survey! A high response rate from our membership will result in more accurate, complete, and useful results for you.
Here's how the survey works.
MAPPS Regular Member Firms should designate one person to submit the survey for your firm. Each firm should submit just one completed survey. However, firms that hold separate memberships for different offices or operating units within a parent company should either complete one survey just for each such office or operating unit or one response for the entire firm, but not both.
The survey questionnaire can be accessed at: www.compdatasurveys.com/Files/MAPPS2010Survey.xls. It is available as an Excel spreadsheet. To download a copy of the questionnaire, click on the link or copy and paste the link into your web browser. You will be asked to 'Open' or 'Save' the Excel file. Select 'Save,' and choose a location on your computer from where you will access the spreadsheet. You can then open the file from the location where you saved it and complete the questionnaire.
Please submit your completed spreadsheet by email to MAPPS@compdatasurveys.com no later than May 28, 2010.
Participating firms will receive a free copy of the final report. MAPPS Associate Member firms will also receive a free copy of the final report. Regular member firms and non-member firms that do not participate in the survey will be able to purchase the final report. A presentation on the results will be part of the Program at the MAPPS Summer Meeting, to be held July 29 - August 2, 2010 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, contact Shawna Simon or Dane Sinn at Compdata Surveys at 1.800.300.9570 or MAPPS@compdatasurveys.com.
