The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is currently in the process of revising and updating its Photogrammetry Manual.
The current manual requires revisions to maintain relevancy with new, state-of-the-art photogrammetry and LIDAR policies, processes, methodologies, and techniques.
An overview of the manual, proposed revisions, and areas of emphasis was provided in a MAPPS webinar on November 20, 2013, presented by Ted Stanton, Chief, Geodesy and Photogrammetry Section, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Center of Expertise Photogrammetric Mapping, St. Louis District. A recording of the webinar is available here.
USACE is seeking comments on the manual from the MAPPS membership.
Below are the individual sections of the draft manual. Comments/suggestions are requested using the EM_Photo_Manual_Comment_Form document (Excel File). The Manual Comment Form should be emailed to Ted Stanton no later than December 20, 2013.
It is requested that MS Word documents in "track changes" NOT be submitted.
Note: Chapter 7 has not been released for comment as of November 21, 2013. MAPPS members will receive notice when this section is available.
