HB 1285 Unanimously Passes House 0 Nick Palatiello PA-MAPPS Members, we are pleased to announce HB 1285, a bill to create a geospatial coordination council in Pennsylvania, today unanimously (202-0) passed the Pennsylvania House.  We will continue to work with coalition partners in the Senate to advance the bill.

HB1701 Passes House! 0 Nick Palatiello The Pennsylvania Assembly unanimously passed H.B. 1701, a bill to create a Statewide Geospatial Coordination Council, on Monday, April 2, 2012.  The bill will now go to the Senate for consideration. Thank you to all the members that have participated in our Hill Days, contacted their State representatives and supported HB 1701 and the previous versions of the bill. This is a great achievement! Rep. Bryan Cutler published a press release following the vote.

March 29 Update 0 Nick Palatiello Today, staff received an update that H.B. 1701. Per the committee staff the bill was given we gave it 2nd consideration on Wednesday. It now  goes to Appropriations and receives a fiscal note.If the once the bill receives a fiscal note it is given 3rd consideration and a final vote in front of the full House. The bill could pass the House and off to the Senate by Monday!
