Coffman to Hold Field Hearing on Health Care Law’s Implementation March 16
On Friday, March 16, House Small Business Investigations, Oversight and Regulations Subcommittee Chairman Mike Coffman (R-CO) will hold a field hearing in Greenwood Village, CO, to examine the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and its impact on small businesses.

Specifically, the Subcommittee will consider the employer mandate and how that provision will affect small business job creation.The Subcommittee will also discuss the confusion and uncertainty the health care law is causing small businesses as the law is implemented.

The Subcommittee will receive testimony from Keith Small D.D.S, Dentist at Cody Dental Group in Denver, CO; Matt Tynan, Secretary and Treasurer at Tynan’s VW, Nissan, Kia in Aurora, CO, testifying on behalf of the National Automobile Dealers Association; John W. Leevers, President of Leevers Supermarkets Inc., in Franktown, CO, testifying on behalf of the National Grocers Association; and Mark Rogers, President and Chief Operating Officer of Roaring Fork Restaurants in Castle Rock, CO, testifying on behalf of the International Franchise Association.
