Definition: Any individual who would otherwise qualify for membership as a Regular or Associate Member, but is not affiliated with any firm that would qualify for membership as Regular or Associate Member, has no employees, is engaged in consulting in or to the geospatial profession, and provides a consulting service of interest to the geospatial profession.
Independent Consultant dues: $500
Emeritus Member
Definition: Any individual who has been an officer of a firm which has been an active or associate member firm for at least the preceding five consecutive years, who has reached the age of 60 years, who has retired from such firm and is no longer engaged in a full time practice in the geospatial profession may become an Emeritus Member by making written application accompanied by payment of one year's dues. Aside from serving on the MAPPS Board of Directors, Emeritus Members have the same rights and privileges as Regular Members.

Sustaining Member

State Chapters
Alabama Chapter Member (AL-MAPPS)
Definition: Any firm with an office or interest in geospatial activities in Alabama may join the state chapter of MAPPS.

Colorado Chapter Member (CO-MAPPS)
Definition: Any firm with an office or interest in geospatial activities in Colorado may join the state chapter of MAPPS.

Florida Chapter Member (FL-MAPPS)
Definition: Any firm with an office or interest in geospatial activities in Florida may join the state chapter of MAPPS.

Membership Packages
Emerald Package
Definition: Combines MAPPS annual membership dues and registration rates for one firm principal to attend three major MAPPS conferences within the firm’s membership term (includes Winter, Federal Programs, and Summer conferences). Purchasing the Emerald Package at the time of membership renewal results in at least a 5% discount from the early registration fee for the MAPPS conferences.
This package is $2,299 in addition to base membership dues.
Diamond Package
Definition: Combines MAPPS annual membership base dues, a Platinum Sustaining Membership, a Diamond Sponsorship at the MAPPS Summer or Winter conference and registration rates for two firm principals to attend three major MAPPS conferences within the firm’s membership term (includes Winter, Federal Programs, and Summer conferences). Additionally, purchasing the Diamond Membership Package at the time of membership renewal results in at least a 5% discount from the early registration fees for the MAPPS conferences.
This package is $13,098 in addition to base membership dues.
